Stampers with An Attitude April Blog Hop

Stampers with An Attitude April Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stampers with An Attitude March Blog Hop.
I bet you are wondering, just who are the Stampers with An Attitude?????
They are a Close to My Heart team of consultants lead by
 my awesome upline, Kimberly Moss.

Each month the Stampers with An Attitude Blog Hop focuses on a different theme. Our theme for April is focusing on the Regatta Paper collection or Mother's Day.
For this month's Blog Hop, I am following. Melissa So whether you arrived here from her hop or are just getting started, you are on the right track. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found at the bottom of this post.
Thank you for stopping by and happy hopping.

I decided to make something for Mother's Day. I chose to use the Kaleidoscope Paper Packet for my Mother's Day Project.
The stamp sets I used were C1612 Shower Flowers and D1629 Just to Say (Circuit Collection). The inks I used were Pixie, Canary, Pear, Sunset, Gypsy, Pacifica and Black.

The card base is make from a 6"x12" piece of Canary Cardstock.
Going across the 12" side, it is scored at 2 3/4", 5 1/2", 8 1/4", and 11". Then on the 6" side score at 2 1/2", scoring from 2 3/4" down to 12" (do not score across the first section)

Notch out the 1" section on the end. Crease all your score lines.

Next cut along each score line  on the 12" side to the 2 1/2" score line and crease them..

You will also need 3 pieces of canary cardstock 3/4" x 3 1/2", scored 1/2" in from each end, this is to attach flowers to.

I cut 3 pieces of the Gypsy BT paper 3 1/4" x 2 1/2" for the bottom section of the sides and front, I also cut 3 pieces of the geometric BT 2 1/4" x 2 1/2" for the flaps on the sides and front. It is best to attach all of these before gluing card together. To glue card together glue the 1" flap to inside of back section. For the top section of the front side of the back of the card, I cut a piece of Pear BT 3" x 2 1/2" and attach it. Next I attached the 3 pieces of canary cardstock that are 3/4" x 3 1/2" evenly spaced to the inside of the box. Next stamp and attach flowers. For the saying I stamped it in Black Ink on White Daisy Cardstock flagged and attached to Canary Cardstock, flagged it and attached to front with dimensional tape.
