Happy Sunday

 Happy Sunday everyone,

I hope you are all having an awesome Sunday. I'm sorry I have been away from posting for quite some time. But my plan is to get back into it. So please check back often.

This has been a crafting weekend for me. I was able to spend most of yesterday with friends for our monthly get together. Some of us scrapbook, others make cards, a few do diamond dots. But we all have FUN, FELLOWSHIP and FOOD. We all bring something to share food wise. We spend time working on our own crafts visiting and just enjoying being together.

Today I am spending time in my craft room getting ready for this month's scrapbook workshop. I am using the Four Season's Spring paper collection and coordinating products. The colors are absolutely beautiful!

Here is the kit I am using to create with, I'm mostly following the workshop directions with a few changes. If you purchase the kit from my website I will send you the changes I have made. My changes are mostly distressing and the way I cut things to save on paper to be able to create more.

I hope that whatever you are doing this weekend brings you joy and happiness.

Pawsing to wish you blessings of joy,

Barbi

November-December Mix-In Papers & Coordinating Cardstock

Today I made a two page layout using the November-December Mix-In Paper Packet and Coordinating Cardstock. Each Bi-monthly catalog has a set of Mix-In Papers and Cardstocks that will coordinate with and extend the use of the two Paper Suites in that catalog.

These are photos taken on a recent trip to San Diego to visit my middle daughter and her family. One of the days while she was working, I took the grandkids to the trampoline park for a little jumping fun.

used my Cricut to cut out titles & the people jumping. I did a splatter technique to distress the White Daisy base page. Next, I sponge distressed the edges of the base page, the striped paper and the stitched circle paper with Sapphire Ink. Then, I sponge distressed the edges of the Papaya circle paper & sponged the surface of my "Sky Zone" title that I cut from Papaya CS with the Papaya Ink. I also used Papaya Shimmer Trim.

I used the Make It From Your Heart, Vol. 5 for my inspiration.

It features a versatile mix of 30 patterns, including 15 two-page scrapbook patterns, 5 single-page scrapbook patterns, and 10 standard size card patterns. These guides are sure to inspire a wealth of creative idea to pursue in your own crafting.

The colors in the Mix-In Paper Packet are: Mink, Papaya, Sundance, Rosemary, Sapphire, and Wisteria.

Have fun with these papers; I would love to see you creations.

Happy Crafting, Barbi

Fun in the Sun - CTMH - Stampers with an Attitude Style!

Welcome to the Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop!

This month our blog theme is "Fun in the Sun"

The Stampers with an Attitude are excited to show you a little Art with an Attitude, so here we go. I have included a complete list at the bottom, should you get lost or want to revisit one of the blogs.
The blogger in front of me is, Melinda Everitt, didn't you LOVE her artwork!
This is my first blog hop, I hope you all enjoy mine and the others along our Blog Hop. I chose to use the Close to My Heart Tommy Paper Kit X7169B for my projects. Inks used were Z2103 Bamboo, Z2162 Honey, Z2116 Cranberry, Z2140 Outdoor Denim, and Z2118 Desert Sand.

First is a 12x12 layout again using the Tommy kit. I used the stamp set D1534 Patterned Pennants and C1544 Surf's Up Scrapbooking Workshop stamp set. These pictures were taken while we were in Cabo San Lucas. While my hubby went Parasailing, our daughter Summer had her hair braided. One reason I chose this stamp set is because Summer's nickname is Sunshine.
Next is a 6x6 layout using the Tommy papers. I kept it simple with this one, not even a single stamped image. This photo is of our daughter Summer and was taken on our Mexican cruise.
Lastly is the card I made using C1546 Tommy Scrapbooking
Workshop Kit stamp set.

Now continue along over to our next blog hopper,  Sheila Bennett . You will not want to miss what she has made!

Should you get lost along you path of our blog, here is a list of our participating blog hoppers.
