Four Seasons Spring Scrapbook Workshop Layouts 1 & 2

Here is my take on the first two layouts in the Workshop from CTMH. As some of you know, I love to distress papers. This time, I decided to distress the edges of my papers with sandpaper. I used 3D Tape for some of the stamped images and stickers. The inks used were Avocado, Capri, Flamingo, and Lemonade. I also used the Citrus Blend and Pale Pink Blend TriBlend Markers. I will list all supplies at the bottom.

On the second layout, I also used Capri ink to edge distress the dovetailed title. The photo on the left page is raised up with 3D tape, as is the "Here Comes the Sun" sticker on the right page.

Four Season Spring Card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #509

 This week I decided to join the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge This week features a frame and a sentiment circle surrounded with embellishments. 

My card features Avocado Cardstock, pattern papers from the Four Seasons Spring collection, Smell the Flowers Stamp Set +Thin Cuts, Flourished Greetings, Stitched Rectangle Frames Thin Cuts and Circle Shaker Window Thin Cuts. I used Capri, Avocado, and Toffee inks, and the Citrus Blend and Pale Pink Blend TriBlend Markers.

 Happy Sunday everyone, 

I hope you are all having an awesome Sunday. I'm sorry I have been away from posting for quite some time. But my plan is to get back into it. So please check back often.

This has been a crafting weekend for me. I was able to spend most of yesterday with friends for our monthly get together. Some of us scrapbook, others make cards, a few do diamond dots. But we all have FUN, FELLOWSHIP and FOOD. We all bring something to share food wise. We spend time working on our own crafts visiting and just enjoying being together. 

Today I am spending time in my craft room getting ready for this month's scrapbook workshop. I am using the Four Season's Spring paper collection and coordinating products. The colors are absolutely beautiful!

Here is the kit I am using to create with, I'm mostly following the workshop directions with a few changes. If you purchase the kit from my website I will send you the changes I have made. My changes are mostly distressing and the way I cut things to save on paper to be able to create more.

November-December Mix-In Papers & Coordinating Cardstock

Today I made a two page layout using the November-December Mix-In Paper Packet and Coordinating Cardstock. Each Bi-monthly catalog has a set of Mix-In Papers and Cardstocks that will coordinate with and extend the use of the two Paper Suites in that catalog. 

These are photos taken on a recent trip to San Diego to visit my middle daughter and her family. One of the days while she was working, I took the grandkids to the trampoline park for a little jumping fun.

I  used my Cricut to cut out titles & the people jumping. I did a splatter technique to distress the White Daisy base page. Next, I sponge distressed the edges of the base page, the striped paper and the stitched circle paper with Sapphire Ink. Then, I sponge distressed the edges of the Papaya circle paper & sponged the surface of my "Sky Zone" title that I cut from Papaya CS with the Papaya Ink. I also used Papaya Shimmer Trim.

 

I used the Make It From Your Heart, Vol. 5 for my inspiration. 

It features a versatile mix of 30 patterns, including 15 two-page scrapbook patterns, 5 single-page scrapbook patterns, and 10 standard size card patterns. These guides are sure to inspire a wealth of creative idea to pursue in your own crafting. 

The colors in the Mix-In Paper Packet are: Mink, Papaya, Sundance, Rosemary, Sapphire, and Wisteria.

Using Holly & Ivy Picture My Life Cards

Hello everyone, hope you are all doing well. The last couple weeks I have been working with the Holly & Ivy products from the September/October 2021 Catalog. 

I wanted to show you some cards I made using the Holly & Ivy Picture My Life Cards, Holly & Ivy Coordinating Cardstock, and the Sept/Oct Mix-In Papers. I even used a sticker left over from making my scrapbook layouts. I also used the Rose Gold Liquid Pearls.

For this card I used a small PML Card for the bottom and a portion of a larger PML Card for the top. There is so much you can do with these cards. 

 

 Here I used a small PML Card for the middle, Then cut a couple strips using one of the Large PML Cards, add a couple of thin strips of Evergreen CS. Just think of them as patterned paper and let your imagination go.

Here I cut most of the circle out of a PML Card going around the poinsettia. I also use 3D tape to raise it up. Stamped a sentiment in the center, add some dots with Sage Liquid Pearls and DONE!

On this last card, I used another small PML Card, then cut strips from the Holly & Ivy paper and the Toffee Mix-In paper. You could add a few gems if you wanted to dress it up a bit.

There are so many ways to use these Picture My Life Cards other than Pocket Scrapbooking. Give it a try using then on your tradition layouts or to make some quick and easy greeting cards.
